Glass House Presents

The Modern Interior

Join curators David A. Hanks, Juliet Kinchin, and Hilary Lewis for a discussion about the furniture inside the Glass House, much of which derives from Philip Johnson’s 1930 New York apartment designed by Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich. The program includes a self-guided tour of the Glass House site as well as a light reception.

This event is organized in conjunction with the exhibition Partners in Design: Alfred H. Barr Jr. and Philip Johnson, on view at the Grey Art Gallery, New York University, September 9 – December 9, 2017. For more information, visit greyartgallery.nyu.edu.
